Glass floor experience

Two cabins on the London Cable Car have glass floors, opened to the public on 23 June 2025. You still glide 90 metres above the river between Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks — you just get to look straight down while you do it.
What makes it different
A see-through floor
Only two of the cabins have glass floors fitted, so this is a separate, bookable experience rather than the standard ride.
Round trip, fast-tracked
Your ticket covers both directions with priority boarding, so you skip the main queue.
Greenwich departures only
The experience starts from the Greenwich Peninsula (North Greenwich) terminal — you can't join it from the Royal Docks side.
A glass-floor cabin normally takes up to 8 people and you may share with other guests. Capacity is reduced if someone in the cabin is using a wheelchair or mobility scooter.

What to know before you go
- • Trousers or shorts are comfier than skirts or dresses when the floor is glass.
- • Leave the high heels and bulky bags behind — they make boarding awkward.
- • Arrive at least 10 minutes early for the short safety briefing.
- • You board at Greenwich Peninsula, next to The O2, and return to the same terminal.
