Opened in 2012 as the Emirates Air Line and rebranded in 2022 as the IFS Cloud Cable Car under a new sponsorship deal, the London Cable Car (as it's commonly known) is the United Kingdom's first and only urban cable car. Thirty-six gondolas swing silently between two enormous towers, lifting you over the Royal Victoria Dock and across the river to North Greenwich.
On a clear day you can see the Olympic Park, the Shard, the dome of St Paul's, and the slow choreography of ships moving toward the Thames Barrier.
